The Drift-Step recovery diode (DSRD) is a state of the art, technologically advanced semi-conductor device that enables the production of rapidly produced high voltage pulses on the order of 10kHz to 1MHz. Further enabled by Silicon Avalanche Sharpener (SAS) semiconductors for high magnitude, fast rise pulse generators.
MIS's specialty is in designing and creating a variety of specialty driving circuits for our DSRDS, such as closing switch thyristor based, saturable core transformers, and opening switch circuits.
